Occupational Therapist (Contracted Position)

We are a Panel Approved Provider under the HSE National Bespoke Panel Arrangement for Autism Diagnostic Assessments, delivering structured, evidence-based assessments to children and young people aged up to 17 years old across multiple clinic locations, including Dublin, Cork, Galway, Dundalk and Cavan.
Due to continued demand across both HSE and private pathways, we are seeking Occupational Therapists to join our contracted panel. This role is suited to professionals seeking flexibility within a well-established, nationally aligned service.

Role Overview: You will join a multidisciplinary team conducting diagnostic assessments for children. You will join a multidisciplinary assessment team delivering diagnostic assessments for children referred through both HSE and private pathways.
Each assessment is carried out with a Psychologist and an SLT or OT paired together, typically including:
- A full range of diagnostic assessments (ADOS, ADI-R, school or home observations)
- OT assessments as required
- Contribution to a full, comprehensive multidisciplinary diagnostic report and onward recommendations.
- Delivery of post-assessment parental feedback (remotely or in person).
Essential Criteria
- Postgraduate degree in Occupational Therapy as recognised by CORU
- Qualifications with training and experience in autism diagnostic assessment tools, specifically ADOS & ADI-R
- Must be experienced in providing the full range of services; (Including Assessments from direct observation, school visits, home visits, parental interview, teacher consultation where indicated, file review & interpretation of existing reports)
- Have the ability to collate all information gathered to arrive at a differential diagnosis within a Multidisciplinary Team.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience conducting diagnostic assessments for autism or other neurodevelopmental conditions in children and young people.
- Confident in writing detailed clinical reports.
- Children’s First HSE e-learning certificate (or willingness to complete)
- CORU registration
