Due to continued growth and internal redeployment we are recruiting an experienced accounts assistant to join our finance team at our head office in Cashel, Co. Tipperary.
This is a hands on role in ensuring the smooth running of daily operations both within the accounts department and the greater office environment.
You will have an excellent telephone manner, an exceptional level of attention to detail and a high level of of IT proficiency.
You will have the ability to work in a team environment as well as independently, multi-task and have excellent organisational skills.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of the Irish VAT system to include Intrastat and VIES returns. You will support the financial controller on a day to day basis and in particular with month end processes together with providing general office / administration support to the business as a whole. Ideally you will hold a business or finance related qualification and be proficient in Microsoft excel and accounting software financing coupled with practical hands-on bookkeeping experience.
While working in a similar industry operation is an advantage it is not essential as full training in all industry specific aspects of the role will be provided. A positive, can do attitude and willingness to learn is much more important.
The ideal candidate will be able to work on their own initiative and collaborate with the team in the finance and other departments as required.
Flexible working hours can be offered - minimum working week 32 hours and the position will be on-site.
