Treacy’s Pub and Restaurant is hiring Full-Time Wait Staff. Treacy's is a 35 year established landmark restaurant outside Portlaoise. It is a busy, top rated local restaurant and popular tourist destination serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. The ideal new member of the team will be passionate about hospitality and be a friendly 'people person'. They will be an experienced Hospitality professional with high levels of customer care and experience with the service of food & alcohol. Salary dependant on experience.
This is a permanent role, not a summer job. Shifts will include mornings, evenings and weekends, so flexibility is essential and works both ways.
Treacy’s serve hearty wholesome quality food. Service is in a relaxed and friendly local atmosphere, with a great base of regulars and locals. You will be part of a dynamic, experienced team who deliver top quality customer care service every day.
Purpose of Position: Providing customers with efficient and friendly service in the restaurant and bar areas serving food and drinks.
Duties & Responsibilities:
· Making customers feel welcome and valued
· Greet guests as they arrive, direct them to tables, provide menus and take orders
· Delivery of food from the kitchen to guests
· Keeping the service areas, restaurant and bar clean, neat and fully stocked
· Taking drinks orders and serving drinks
· Making order recommendations and promoting sales within the restaurant
· Clearing away dishes from tables
· Processing customer bills and payments at the till
· Wiping down tables and chairs and keeping floors clean
· Addressing any customer enquiries
