We are an ambitious and growing construction company based in IFSC. We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Office Manager/Bookkeeper to oversee daily office operations and provide administrative and financial support to our construction projects. The successful candidate will act as a key link between site teams, management, suppliers, and clients. This is a pivotal role in a fast-growing company, ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment. It is a fully onsite position.
Requirements :
3 years + in office management / bookkeeping role.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of engaging with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams
Proactive, solution-focused, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
Professional, approachable, and flexible, maintaining discretion and confidentiality at all times
Ability to communicate clearly in English (spoken and written) .
Capable of working on own initiative
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain bookkeeping and payroll activities using Evolution MX
Handle accounts receivable/payable, customer and supplier queries.
Manage all day-to-day office services, including reception, catering, cleaning, maintenance, and mail services
Assist with purchasing, tracking orders, and basic admin for project needs.
Assist with ad hoc site requests, including ordering materials, coordinating logistics, and providing administrative support to ensure smooth delivery.
Build strong relationships with vendors, service providers, and building management to ensure high-quality delivery and value for money
Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding, supporting employees with a smooth workplace transition
Lead office-wide events, meetings, and initiatives that enhance employee engagement
Collaborate with IT providers to support onboarding and offboarding employees.
Cover reception when needed, acting as the first point of contact for visitors and calls, ensuring a professional and welcoming environment.
Support management with tasks as required in a small but dynamic team.
