The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated Area Sales Manager to manage and develop an established customer base across a designated territory. This field-based role offers the opportunity to build strong customer relationships, maximise product visibility, and drive sales growth within the retail sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit retail customers on a planned call cycle within the assigned territory.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with store owners, managers, and staff.
- Ensure product displays are well-presented and fully stocked.
- Implement promotional activity and point-of-sale materials in store.
- Identify opportunities to increase sales and expand product distribution.
- Monitor competitor activity and provide market feedback.
- Deliver excellent customer service and resolve customer queries efficiently.
- Achieve agreed sales and merchandising objectives.
Requirements
- Full Irish driving licence.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage a territory effectively.
- Positive, proactive, and customer-focused approach.
- Previous sales, retail, merchandising, or FMCG experience is desirable but not essential.
