We are currently looking for a welder/metal fabricator for our busy steel fabrication workshop. The successful candidates will be motivated, driven and be capable of working effectively in a pressured and fast paced team environment.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of steel work for fabricators - setting up, maintaining, and operating welding equipment safely and efficiently
- Measuring and cutting metal components to specified dimensions using metal cutting machinery and tools, using different welding techniques to join metal parts together
- Maintaining cleanliness of warehouse
- Work with other team members to meet the Production schedule
- Loading trucks and vans in warehouse
Requirements
- Previous hands on welding/metal work experience essential
- Proficiency in welding techniques, knowledge of metal properties, steady hand, attention to detail and problem solving skills.
