Bar Staff Job Description About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused experienced bar Staff member to join our team. You will serve drinks and food, maintain a clean and welcoming bar environment, and deliver an outstanding guest experience on every shift.
Key Responsibilities
You will prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently, take customer orders and handle cash and card payments, and maintain cleanliness across the bar area, including glassware, surfaces, and equipment. You will also restock bar supplies, monitor inventory levels, and flag shortages to your supervisor. Checking customer identification to verify legal drinking age and following responsible service of alcohol guidelines are also core parts of the role.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate is friendly, reliable, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Previous bar or hospitality experience is an advantage but not essential, as full training is provided. Strong communication skills, the ability to work well under pressure, and a flexible approach to shift work — including evenings and weekends — are all important.
