Position Overview: Due to our expanding business, we are currently seeking a Carpenters/ Skilled Operatives to join our dynamic team in the modular construction industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry and experience in the assembly and installation of modular buildings. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a commitment to quality craftsmanship and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Construction and Assembly: Assemble and install modular building components according to drawings and specifications, ensuring structural integrity and quality.
- Carpentry Skills: Perform a variety of carpentry tasks, including framing, finishing, and installation of doors, windows, and cabinetry.
- Work closely with other trades to coordinate work and achieve project timelines.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, promoting a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a carpenter or skilled operative in construction, preferably within the modular construction industry.
- Proficient in the use of hand and power tools relevant to carpentry.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Relevant certifications e.g., Safe Pass, Manual Handling
