The Opportunity
The Strategic Engagement, Vendor & Change team supports and enables strategic change through change management, stakeholder and vendor engagement. This enables growth to happen effectively and efficiently as we deliver our strategic programmes.
We now have an exciting opportunity for a Stakeholder Engagement Analyst to join our growing team and support with the delivery of our strategic programmes. This person must be a first-class communicator, with high levels of initiative, professionalism and drive to support the work we do in strategic programme delivery, working side-by-side with our internal partners to enable and drive change with key external stakeholders (including industry, market participants, regulatory authorities and government stakeholders).
Our external stakeholders are vital in successfully meeting our renewable generation targets, the continuation of sustainable economic growth, supporting security of supply and the transition of the Irish power system to a high share of renewables.
Key Responsibilities-
All manner of outreach, communication, enablement, project management and monitoring as changes are rolled out to meet our SOEF objectives.
- Engaging directly and indirectly with external stakeholders to plan and deliver multiple, cross-functional changes that enable transformation.
- Communicating, agreeing, and working closely with internal delivery partners in a professional and collaborative manner.

Identifying existing projects which impact key stakeholders and ensure an engagement plan exists which will build trust and enable optimum programme delivery.

Working collaboratively across the team and the wider organisation in the development and delivery of stakeholder engagement plans which may include user outreach, feedback, planning, successful pre and post go-live communication, amplification of success and sharing of lessons learned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience-
Proven experience of effective external stakeholder engagement and management in a complex environment and with an ability to drive successful outcomes.

Excellent interpersonal skills and a proven ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Strategic mindset that can consider multiple priorities and balance multiple stakeholders needs while delivering on EirGrid’s key objectives.

Experienced in communicating technical subject matter to non-technical audiences.

Demonstrated behaviours and actions that will proactively and positively support the culture of ambitious innovation and professionalism that we are building.

Demonstrated communication and influencing skills with internal and external stakeholders.

Flexibility to adapt to a dynamic rollout of transformation projects and agility to manage a wide range of issues at the same time.
