Role: General Operative
Overall Objective: To ensure effective production in the assigned area
Reporting to: Area Supervisor
Hours: 39 hours per week
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Deburring of machined components
- Sort and inspect parts to ensure quality standards are met
- Ensure correct packaging of relevant parts for shipping
- Despatch
- Sub-assembly
- Ensure company and customer targets are met
- Ensure shipping and assembly area is kept clean and tidy, sweep floors and clean down bench regularly
- Complete paperwork for quality and traceability
- Maintain health and safety standards for the area.
- Industrial cleaning / facilities maintenance
- Any other duties as reasonably required
Qualifications & Experience (Desirable):
· Relevant manufacturing experience
Commercial cleaning / facilities maintenance experience
Previous experience driving forklift and / or operation of cleaning equipment
Full Driving License
Person/Skills Required:
· Good communication & numeracy skills
· Excellent attention to detail
