Role Overview
The successful candidate will provide assessment, intervention, and support to individuals with a range of physical, sensory, developmental, intellectual, and mental health needs. This role offers flexibility and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we support.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete occupational therapy assessments and develop individualised support plans.
- Assess functional abilities and identify areas requiring intervention.
- Recommend and support the implementation of assistive equipment and environmental adaptations.
- Deliver therapeutic interventions aimed at promoting independence and quality of life.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and professional reports.
- Work collaboratively with families, carers, healthcare professionals, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Monitor and review progress, adapting interventions as required.
- Ensure all practice complies with professional, ethical, and regulatory standards.
Essential Requirements
- Degree or Master's qualification in Occupational Therapy.
- CORU registration (or eligibility for registration).
- Strong assessment, report-writing, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Full driving licence and access to a vehicle (desirable).
