The role of Marketing Manager for Leopardstown Racecourse reports into the Head of Marketing & CEO of Leopardstown Racecourse and the responsibilities & competencies required for are as follows:
Role Purpose
The Marketing Manager is responsible for the creation and implementation of marketing campaigns to promote all 23 fixtures at Leopardstown, as well as supporting non-raceday promotion on the Leopardstown campus. The role also oversees event creation associated with all the marquee festivals. This is a permanent position and a great opportunity to work in one of Europe's premier racecourses.
Responsibilities:

Develop and implement best in class marketing campaigns for Leopardstown race days to deliver sales and attendance KPIs.

Work with HRI Head of Marketing to plan annual budget and manage budget for each event.

Work with HRI Head of Marketing on ticketing/sales plans for each event.

Manage relationships with external agencies (creative, media buying, media partners) to optimise outcomes in line with strategic objectives.

Manage and develop media partnerships to maximise opportunities for Leopardstown.

Manage event plan for all marquee festivals including working with 3rd party event suppliers, booking of entertainment in line with Leopardstown's CX initiatives.

Project manages BLAL including third party supplier management, sourcing acts, ticket sales monitoring & marketing campaign.

Support marketing activities for non-raceday activities on the Leopardstown campus.

Lead a data driven approach to sales and marketing, utilising data insights from all available customer data points to ensure effective communication with customers.

Collect and analyse information to understand customer requirements, and use the information to constantly improve the customer experience at Leopardstown.

Oversee data growth and channel growth projects in line with KPIs.

Oversee management of Leopardstown website and digital channels, delivering high standard, consistent tone, and a clearly identifiable brand.

Maintain excellent relationships with industry and general media partners, issuing press releases and information updates as necessary.

Manage direct reports and implement regular one -to-one meetings and performance development meetings with team.

Operate as an integral part of the Leopardstown race day and event delivery team.

Skills and Experience:

At least 3 years experience in a similar role.

Evidence of strong management, planning, project management and organisational skills, required to manage an extensive portfolio of events and marketing campaigns.

Relevant marketing experience, ideally in a customer-centric fast paced environment.

Ability and experience in setting, monitoring and reporting against targets to key internal stakeholders.

Ability to work in fast-paced live event environments, managing competing priorities.

Budget management skills with a focus on value for money/return on investment.

Experience in customer segmentation and successful marketing campaigns, supported by data-analysis and market insight, required to deliver successful sales driven campaigns.

A broad-based sale, marketing, and communications skillset.

A thorough understanding of digital marketing and the role of social media and analytics in attracting and retaining customers.
