Job Title: Psychiatric Nurse – Mental Health & Addiction Services

Location: Galway, Co. Galway
We are seeking experienced, compassionate Psychiatric Nurses to provide care across mental health and addiction services in Galway.
This is a fast-paced, high-demand environment, ideally suited for nurses with previous experience in addiction or mental health services in Ireland.
Shifts are ad-hoc weekdays, providing flexibility for 2–3 shifts per week, allowing you to gain valuable experience in a supportive, multidisciplinary setting.

Work in mental health and addiction services, gaining experience in a variety of care settings

Fully qualified and registered Psychiatric Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI)
Previous experience in mental health or addiction services in Ireland is essential
MAPA or equivalent training (Management of Actual or Potential Aggression)
Excellent communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills
Flexibility to work ad-hoc weekday shifts
Fluency in English, both written and spoken
A professional, resilient, and compassionate nurse
Ability to work confidently in fast-paced mental health and addiction settings
Commitment to delivering evidence-based, person-centred care
Positive, proactive attitude and ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
