Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in County Dublin, Ireland. As a member of the AV Crew for Setup & Take-Down, you will be responsible for installing, setting up, and dismantling audio-visual equipment at various event venues. Daily tasks include unloading and loading technical equipment and ensuring the safe handling and transportation of equipment. You will collaborate closely with the technical team to ensure a smooth and efficient event execution. We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable people to assist with the setup and take-down of event technical equipment. This is a physical, hands-on role that is key to delivering seamless live events.
No prior AV experience is required — full training will be provided. However, candidates who have worked in live events, technical settings, or hands-on crew roles will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and handle event AV equipment, staging, lighting, and sound gear
- Assist in assembling, positioning, and safely securing technical setups
- Follow instructions from crew leads to meet event schedules
- Support break-down and return of equipment post-event
- Maintain tidy and safe work areas
Person Specification
- Full training provided — great for those starting out or switching into events
- Experience in event work, AV, or similar roles is an advantage
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
- Flexible availability — including evenings, weekends, and early starts
- C driving licence preferred (useful for transporting equipment — not essential)
- Team-oriented with a positive and proactive attitude
- Flexibility and willingness to work variable shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Previous experience in the AV or event production industry is an advantage
