We are seeking an experienced Finishing Site Foreman to join its growing site team on a high-quality construction project in Galway.

The Role
As Finishing Site Foreman, you will be responsible for managing the final stages of construction, ensuring all finishing trades deliver work safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards. You will work closely with the Site Manager, subcontractors and project team to ensure projects are completed on programme and ready for handover.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all finishing trades on site
- Ensure high-quality workmanship throughout the finishing phase
- Manage daily activities of subcontractors and direct labour
- Coordinate schedules to ensure timely completion of works
- Carry out quality inspections and snagging throughout the project
- Monitor progress and report regularly to the Site Manager
- Resolve site issues efficiently to minimise delays
- Ensure works comply with project drawings, specifications and building regulations
- Coordinate material deliveries and ensure finishing materials are available when required
- Maintain accurate site records and daily reports
- Promote and enforce health and safety procedures on site
- Assist with project handover and completion documentation
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a Finishing Site Foreman or in a similar site supervisory role
- Strong background in residential, commercial or mixed-use construction projects
- Excellent knowledge of finishing trades and construction sequencing
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality finishes
- Proven experience managing subcontractors and coordinating multiple work activities
- Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills
- Good understanding of Irish health and safety legislation
- Competent IT skills; experience with construction management software is an advantage
- Full Irish driving licence
Desirable
- Relevant construction qualification or trade background
- Safe Pass, Manual Handling and other relevant site certifications
- First Aid certification would be advantageous
- Experience working with main contractors on large-scale construction projects
