BaToba are a tech start up. We need someone to work mainly remotely. It is part time, ad hoc, but with the potential for full time work from October. We have an office near St Stephen's Green.
You will need to be amazing at editing documents. There's no copy writing per se, albeit you are expected to proof for typos and grammar. Mainly it's organising an initial rough word document covered with felt tip markings, arrows, and dreadful handwriting that is possibly of extra terrestrial origin, into Canva, then into (usually) a PDF. These documents are briefing notes (similar style to Investment Bank buy / sell notes if you're familiar), press releases and client newsletters. Columns, text, images etc. But the layout, margin alignment etc has to be 100% perfect. All margins, spaces, fonts, alignment, running order etc. Perfect!
To repeat again, this has to be perfect. So far we have had four candidates claiming to be brilliant. Oh well. Fifth time lucky! If you are applying on the basis that you think you can learn on the job, "wing it" or just lie, it won't work. We need someone to hit the ground running.
Please attach a covering letter explaining why you believe you can do the job, and the hours you are available (if you are already working). If there is no covering letter with your CV, it means you've not read this advert, which doesn't bode well with regard to attention to detail! We won't reply.
If you can speak an additional European language that's super helpful, but not essential.
Pay: €29,628.36-€55,262.50 per year
Work Location: In person
