Production Manager
Emerald Guitars – St. Johnston, Co. Donegal
Salary: €55,000–€65,000 (depending on experience)

Emerald Guitars designs and manufactures world-renowned carbon fibre guitars, exporting to musicians in over 70 countries. As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced Production Manager to lead our manufacturing team, improve production performance and help drive the next stage of our growth.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll spend time both on the factory floor and working with production systems to ensure we consistently deliver exceptional quality and meet production targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the day-to-day production team.
- Plan and schedule production using our Planning Plus production system.
- Ensure production targets and customer delivery dates are achieved.
- Monitor staff productivity, efficiency and attendance.
- Maintain high standards of quality throughout the manufacturing process.
- Measure and report on production KPIs and team performance.
- Identify bottlenecks and implement improvements to increase efficiency.
- Develop production benchmarks and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Train, motivate and support production staff.
- Work closely with management to improve manufacturing processes and production capacity.
- Promote a safe, organised and positive working environment.
About You
You'll be an organised and motivated leader with experience managing production in a manufacturing environment.
You'll ideally have:
- Previous Production Manager or Manufacturing Supervisor experience.
- Strong planning and organisational skills.
- Experience using production planning or ERP systems.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- A proven ability to improve productivity and manufacturing efficiency.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Good computer skills, including Microsoft Excel.
Experience in composites, woodworking, automotive, engineering or precision manufacturing would be an advantage but is not essential.
