· To assist in the delivery of food service to the staff of Portumna Pastry.
· Food preparation, cooking, serving staff, keeping kitchen equipment and canteen areas clean, sanitized and ready for use.
· Operating cash registers and handling cash
· Food storage and stock rotation
· To effectively and efficiently perform their daily work tasks to the highest level of Quality, food safety and health and safety standards, meeting all targets and reporting all issues.
· To integrate with fellow employees to form an effective, diligent and co-operative team in a safe environment.
· Communication, problem solving and administrative skills. Must have good understanding of KPI’s and be self-motivating.
This is a part time position but could be combined with other roles in the business to meet full time hours
Desirable Experience
1-2 years Catering experience including knowledge of HACCP
Cash handling and working a cash register
Fluent English
