- Responsibilities:
- Clearing Tableware: Counter Staff remove used dishes and utensils from dining tables and take them to the kitchen for washing.
- Welcoming Patrons: They serve complimentary snacks to patrons upon their arrival and assist them in locating suitable dining tables.
- Setting Tables: Counter Staff set tables with clean linen, napkins, tableware, and condiments.
- Stocking Server Stations: They ensure that server stations are adequately stocked with tableware, napkins, and condiments.
- Assisting Wait Staff: Counter Staff help deliver meal items to patrons as needed and assist in processing patrons’ payments.
- Clean-Up Duties: This includes sweeping, mopping, vacuuming floors, and polishing counters and fixtures.
- Answering Patron Questions: Counter Staff address inquiries regarding meal ingredients and preparation.
- Notifying Management: They inform the manager of low or depleted restaurant supplies.
