Location: Cork
Hours: 22.5 hours per week
Salary: €16.76 - €19.47 per hour (depending on experience) + premiums for unsocial hours
We are currently recruiting for a Care Support Worker to join a community-based service supporting adults with physical, sensory, and neurological disabilities in West Cork.
This role involves working across two residential/community services and supporting individuals to live as independently as possible while promoting dignity, respect, and person-centred care.

Support individuals with daily living activities in line with personal care plans

Promote independence, choice, and community participation

Build positive, respectful relationships with service users

Support social, psychological, and physical needs

Work as part of a multidisciplinary team

Drive service vehicles as required

Full Manual Driving Licence (essential)

QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support (or working towards) OR QQI Level 6 Social Care qualification OR Nursing qualification

Experience supporting people with disabilities (preferred)

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Eligibility to work in Ireland

Willingness to complete QQI training if not already qualified
