We are looking for an experienced Welder Fabricator to join our team at our structural steel fabrication workshop in Ballyduff Upper, Co. Waterford.
The successful candidate will have previous experience working in a structural steel fabrication workshop and be confident working from fabrication drawings. MIG welding experience is essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Fabricating structural steel components in accordance with fabrication drawings.
MIG welding and assembling steel structures.
Reading and interpreting fabrication and workshop drawings.
Measuring, cutting, fitting and preparing steel components.
Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard of quality and accuracy.
Maintaining a safe and tidy workshop environment.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a welding/fabrication workshop is essential.
Good knowledge and experience of reading fabrication drawings.
Strong MIG welding skills.
Experience in structural steel fabrication is highly desirable.
Good attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Reliable, hardworking and safety-conscious.
Pay: €28,300.00-€46,673.50 per year
