Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Assistant Manager to help lead our store team and support the day-to-day running of the business. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a busy retail environment, ideally in tech, telecoms, consumer electronics, or a similar customer-focused setting. You should be confident dealing with customers, supporting staff, driving sales, and helping the business continue to grow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, motivate, and manage the retail team to drive performance and customer satisfaction
- Deliver exceptional in-store experiences, resolving customer issues with professionalism
- Oversee daily store operations, including merchandising, stock control, and cash handling
- Take ownership of sales targets and KPIs, driving a performance-based culture
- Train, and support staff, ensuring high levels of product knowledge
- Engage with suppliers and stay current on industry trends and new technologies
- Collaborate on innovative ways to grow the business and improve efficiency
- Collaborate on marketing campaigns and promotions to drive footfall and sales
- Manage digital marketing activities, including social media content, online promotions, and customer engagement across platforms
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in retail management (tech, telecoms, or consumer electronics preferred)
- Excellent people and leadership skills
- Comfortable using technology and discussing technical products
- Organised, reliable, and proactive with strong attention to detail
- Strong commercial awareness and a growth-focused mindset
