WE’RE HIRING – SAUNA ATTENDANT
Sláinte Saunas is looking for a reliable, friendly and hardworking Sauna Attendant to join our team.
The role involves the day-to-day operation of our sauna facility and making sure every customer has a safe, clean and enjoyable experience.
Main Duties Include:
- Welcoming customers and providing a friendly, professional service
- Checking customers in and managing sauna bookings
- Explaining sauna rules, safety procedures and session times to customers
- Opening and closing the facility
- Preparing the sauna before each shift and ensuring it is ready for customers
- Lighting and maintaining the sauna stove where required
- Monitoring sauna temperature throughout the day
- Adding water and maintaining appropriate sauna conditions
- Cleaning and sanitising the sauna between sessions
- Cleaning changing areas, showers and surrounding areas
- Sweeping, washing and maintaining decking and outdoor areas
- Emptying bins and keeping the entire site clean and presentable
- Restocking water, cleaning products and other supplies
- Regularly checking the sauna, stove and facilities for any damage or maintenance issues
- Reporting maintenance, safety or customer issues to management
- Ensuring customers follow site rules and sauna safety guidelines
- Managing session changeovers and keeping sessions running on time
- Answering customer questions about the sauna and facilities
- Assisting customers with bookings where required
- Handling walk-in customers where applicable
- Taking payments where required
- Keeping basic records of incidents, maintenance issues or stock requirements
- Maintaining a high standard of presentation across the entire facility
- Helping with any other reasonable day-to-day tasks required to keep the sauna operating smoothly
The Ideal Candidate:
- Friendly and confident dealing with customers
- Reliable and punctual Comfortable working independently
- Takes pride in keeping a workplace clean and organised
- Practical and willing to get stuck into cleaning and general maintenance
- Able to manage a busy environment and keep sessions running on schedule
- Good communication skills
- Available to work evenings and weekends where required
- Previous customer service or hospitality experience is an advantage but not essential
Full training will be provided.
Pay: €15.00-€20.00 per hour
