Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Technical Sales Representative based in Athlone, Ireland, with partial work-from-home flexibility. The Technical Sales Representative will be responsible for managing and growing customer accounts, identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities, and providing technical expertise to clients on our range of products. Additional tasks include delivering product demonstrations, preparing proposals, and collaborating with internal teams on customer needs and project requirements. The role will also involve maintaining a sales pipeline and achieving targets to contribute to the overall growth of the company.
Qualifications
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer relationship management skills
- Demonstrated experience in technical sales and account management, ideally in industrial or engineering fields
- Technical knowledge of bearings, power transmission, or industrial automation products is advantageous
- Proficiency with CRM tools, sales software, and basic Microsoft Office applications
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to deliver effective technical solutions to clients
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a hybrid work setup
- A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for client visits
- Relevant industry experience or a degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field is a plus
