THE CABIN, DUBLIN SENIOR BAR MANAGER
The Cabin, Dundrum, is looking for an experienced Senior Bar Manager to join our growing Dublin venue and play an important part in shaping what comes next.
We’re a lively, welcoming place with a strong local following, a busy calendar and plenty of character. Our atmosphere matters: we want guests to feel at home, our team to feel supported and every service to run with energy, warmth and purpose.
This is a hands on leadership role for someone who enjoys being on the floor, knows how to bring out the best in people and takes real pride in creating memorable experiences. You’ll have genuine responsibility for the day to day running of the bar, while working closely with the owners and management team to help develop The Cabin further.
It’s an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to grow with a new venue and build a new chapter in hospitality.
The role will include:
Leading and supervising the bar and floor teams
Managing busy services while maintaining consistently high standards
Preparing staff rotas and overseeing training and performance
Managing opening and closing procedures
Handling cash, managing tills and completing end-of-day controls
Managing stock, placing orders and controlling wastage
Delivering excellent customer service and helping create The Cabin’s welcoming atmosphere
Ensuring compliance with licensing, health and safety, and operational procedures
Working closely with the owners and management team to develop The Cabin
Supporting sales growth, events and the overall customer experience
Helping build a positive, motivated and supportive team culture
We’re looking for someone who:
Has significant previous bar management experience
Has excellent knowledge of pub and bar operations
Can confidently manage, motivate and develop a team
Is organised, dependable and comfortable making decisions
Understands stock control, margins, labour costs and commercial performance
Has strong customer service skills and a natural feel for hospitality
Can manage busy evenings and weekends calmly and professionally
Takes pride in maintaining high standards and leads by example
Is ambitious, proactive and excited by the opportunity to help shape a growing venue
