About the Role
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Transport Compliance & Operations Administrator to join our growing team. This varied role combines office administration, transport compliance, fleet coordination, and operational support, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the business while maintaining compliance with transport and industry regulations.
The successful candidate will be a confident administrator with a positive, solutions-focused approach, capable of managing multiple priorities and supporting the operational needs of a busy business environment. The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, take ownership of their responsibilities, and be confident finding practical solutions to day-to-day operational challenges.
Key responsibilites
· Manage incoming calls, emails, and general enquiries.
· Maintain records, databases, timesheets, and administrative documentation.
· Organise travel and accommodation arrangements for work crews and management.
· Order and manage office supplies and inventory.
· Provide administrative support to the Managing Director and wider team.
· Assist colleagues with general administrative duties and undertake ad hoc tasks as required.
· Maintain and update driver, vehicle, and operator compliance records.
· Monitor and track licence checks, driver CPCs, and training requirements.
· Schedule and maintain records of vehicle inspections, servicing, calibrations, and maintenance.
· Assist with compliance audits and ensure transport documentation is accurate and up to date.
· Support adherence to transport legislation and company policies.
· Maintain digital and paper filing systems.
Ideal Candidate
· Strong organisational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail.
· Experience in transport compliance, logistics administration, or a similar role is desirable.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
· Ability to work independently, prioritise workloads, and meet deadlines.
· Strong communication and problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude.
Pay: From €31,000.00 per year
