Position Description
The Electric Ireland Residential Channel Sales Manager role sits within the Residential Sales Contract Management team, which manages sales requirements across all outsourced sales partners.
The role is key to delivering residential sales targets and supporting market share growth. In Ireland’s highly competitive energy market, the successful candidate will inspire and motivate teams to meet channel targets. This role requires a strong leader who can drive performance across field sales teams, online channels and price comparison websites to achieve the best possible outcomes.
Sales targets will be demanding due to increased competition from established providers and new market entrants. High levels of customer switching and churn add further complexity. We are seeking an ambitious sales channel manager who thrives in a competitive environment and is motivated to meet and exceed targets.

- Manage third-party sales channels, including field sales, online channels, price comparison websites and the relevant sales administration team, ensuring appropriate support is in place and contractual obligations are met.
- Deliver annual sales targets in line with residential strategy and the agreed budget allocation for field sales, online channels and price comparison websites.
- Ensure sales are processed smoothly from end to end, with policies and procedures followed and any bottlenecks identified and resolved.
- Work with third-party partners to align resources with forecasts, ensuring teams have the staffing required to meet KPIs and sales targets.
- Provide regular reporting on sales performance, identifying underperformance and trends, and recommending actions to address any variance from target.
- Manage the transition of new products from the business to outsourced partners through the Contract Change Control Process.
