Bright Beginnings Crèche & Montessori is currently looking for a caring, enthusiastic and reliable Early Years Educator to join our friendly team in a Part-Time Floating Role (20 hours per week).
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for 20 hours per week while gaining valuable experience across all age groups within a busy, well-established crèche and Montessori.
As a Floating Early Years Educator, you will support our classrooms during lunch breaks and throughout the day as required. This varied role offers the opportunity to work with babies, toddlers and preschool children, making it ideal for educators who enjoy variety and want to broaden their childcare experience.
This position is also suitable for newly qualified Early Years Educators who are looking to build experience across all age groups while working as part of a supportive and experienced team.
Position Details
- Permanent part-time position
- 20 hours per week
- Monday to Friday
- Floating role providing lunch cover across all classrooms
- Located in Churchtown, Dublin 14
- Service closed for two weeks over Christmas and all Bank Holidays
Key Responsibilities
- Support educators across all classrooms during lunch breaks and throughout the day.
- Provide a safe, warm and nurturing environment for all children.
- Build positive relationships with children and colleagues.
- Assist with daily routines including meals, sleep, toileting and play.
- Promote children's learning and development through engaging, play-based interactions.
- Follow all service policies and procedures while maintaining the highest standards of care.
Requirements
Applicants must have:
- A minimum QQI Level 5 qualification in Early Childhood Care and Education (or an equivalent recognised qualification).
- Fluent spoken English.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A genuine passion for working with young children.
- Garda Vetting (or willingness to complete Garda Vetting before commencing employment).
International applicants should also have:
- Police clearance from their home country (translated into English where applicable).
- A recognised childcare qualification with an English translation if required.
