Key Responsibilities
1. Vehicle Checks & Compliance
- Carry out daily walk-around checks and ensure the vehicle is roadworthy.
- Comply with all RSA regulations, company policies, and legal requirements.
2. Driving & Operations
- Safely operate HGV vehicles for scheduled deliveries and collections.
- Follow assigned routes and meet delivery timelines.
3. Communication & Reporting
- Maintain clear communication with the operations team.
- Immediately report delays, issues, or incidents.
4. POD Management & Documentation
- Collect and maintain accurate Proof of Delivery records.
- Ensure all paperwork is completed correctly and on time.
5. Health, Safety & Cleanliness
- Adhere to all health and safety standards.
- Keep the cab and trailer clean and presentable at all times.
Skills & Experience Required
- Valid CE HGV driving licence
- Previous experience as an HGV driver is preferred
- Strong work ethic and high reliability
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Commitment to safety and customer satisfaction
