Ayrton Group have a requirement for a Junior Health and Safety Advisor, working with our client who are a leading building technologies and energy solutions company.
This position will involve visiting various pharmaceutical sites within the Cork and Tipperary regions weekly.
This role offers an initial 6 month contract, with the possibility of extension. Vehicle included.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with all current legislation, including codes of practice and relevant standards. Assist in the maintenance of the company legal register.
- Review and implement Health & Safety management procedures.
- Review and implement client Health & Safety standards & procedures.
- Review and implement Construction Health and Safety Plans.
- Arrange, prepare, and carry out site inductions.
- Update and maintain all records associated with the Health & Safety management system.
- Review Risk Assessments and Method Statements as required.
- Review and comment on Subcontractor RAMS.
- Provide monthly HSQE report.
- Arrange, co-ordinate, and minute site Health and Safety meetings and capture action plans.
- Support the investigation of accidents and dangerous occurrences, maintaining proper records and complying with and reporting to relevant bodies.
Key Qualifications:
- Recognised qualification in Health and Safety, or similar.
- 1+ year experience within the Health & Safety construction industry.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work on own initiative and be innovative.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- You must be legally permitted to live and work in Ireland.
