Full-Time Chef de Partie – 2 Years' Experience Required
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Chef de Partie to join the team at our new Café & Bistro. If you have a passion for great food, thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment and take pride in delivering high-quality dishes, we'd love to hear from you.
This is a full-time position offering great working hours and the opportunity to be part of an exciting new business from the very beginning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, cook and present high-quality dishes to a consistently excellent standard.
- Manage your designated section of the kitchen efficiently during service.
- Ensure all food is prepared and served in accordance with recipes, presentation standards and portion controls.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation and food hygiene throughout the kitchen.
- Assist with stock control, ordering and the proper storage of ingredients and supplies.
- Work closely with the wider kitchen team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- Support the Head Chef in maintaining quality standards and developing menu items when required.
- Adhere to all food safety, hygiene and health & safety procedures.
- Ensure all equipment is used safely and maintained appropriately.
Essential Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years' previous experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role is required.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques and kitchen operations.
- Ability to work efficiently and remain calm in a busy, fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and a passion for producing high-quality food.
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Reliable, punctual and professional in both appearance and manner.
- Flexibility to work weekdays and weekends when required.
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
