We are currently seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our growing team in Cork. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of residential, commercial, and civil construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and tender submissions.
- Monitor project costs and manage financial reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare interim valuations, variations, and final accounts.
- Measure and value completed works.
- Procure subcontractors and manage subcontract accounts.
- Review contracts and ensure commercial compliance.
- Identify cost risks and implement cost control measures.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and site teams.
- Maintain accurate commercial records and project documentation.
- Support the successful delivery of multiple construction projects.
Requirements:
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
- Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts and commercial management.
- Excellent numerical, analytical, and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and quantity surveying software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Full Irish driving licence is an advantage.
