As Apple’s Fitness Operations Specialist, you will take a hands-on approach to running our Cork fitness centre and ensuring a world-class experience for our employees. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for managing comprehensive fitness programs and coordinating the daily service delivery of front desk staff, class instructors, and personal trainers. You will also lead the delivery of impactful outreach programs, partnering very closely with internal teams to promote holistic wellness. Manage fitness programs, class schedules, and studios, while coordinating the daily activities and service delivery of class instructors and personal trainers.
Deliver and support the implementation of global outreach programs, including mental health, stress management, fitness challenges, health education, and nutrition.
Coordinate with facilities teams and vendors for routine walk-throughs, facility projects, and work order management.
Coordinate and support front desk staff, operational contract staff, and vendors to ensure high-quality service delivery, including assisting with interviewing, on-boarding, and scheduling.
Collaborate with the operations team on financial management: operational budget, inventory, purchases for planning, forecasting, accruals, monthly spend reconciliation, and invoice management.
Partner very closely with internal teams, acting as a liaison between departments, stakeholders, and facilities.
Act as the primary point of contact for Fitness offerings questions, inquiries, and feedback from team members.
Present Fitness offerings for Cork leadership meetings and employee service orientations.
Support additional Benefits and Wellness projects as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
BSc or equivalent experience in fitness management, program delivery, or a related field.
Experience overseeing daily facility operations or working in a facilities management capacity.
First Aid/CPR certification.
High-level understanding of Apple’s hardware and software solutions.
Familiarity with work order management platforms and tools such as iWork (Numbers, Keynote, Pages), Quip, Box, Wrike, and MS Office.
Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Resourceful self-starter who can shift seamlessly between a variety of programs and work effectively with minimal direction.
Flexibility to work as required to fulfill business needs.
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of operational experience in program delivery within fitness or wellness environment, or a related field, with a proven track record of excellent customer experience.
Demonstrated experience coordinating the daily work and service delivery of personnel (such as front desk staff, class instructors, and personal trainers) and managing vendor relationships.
Experience with basic financial or budget management, such as forecasting, accruals, and invoice processing.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a professional demeanor when collaborating cross-functionally and partnering closely with internal teams.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with acute attention to detail and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
