The Transformation & Change (T&C) team is a multidisciplinary internal team responsible for delivering strategic programmes and projects within KPMG. The team brings together technical, project delivery and change management skillsets to partner with the business in identifying opportunities, shaping solutions and delivering sustainable outcomes.
We are looking for a Communications Specialist to join our team. You will be responsible for assisting in the development and execution of our internal communication plans, ensuring our messaging is clear, engaging and effectively reaches our target audiences.
We want someone who is energetic, highly motivated and can make a strong impact supporting our internal communication efforts across a variety of Transformation and Change projects.
A snapshot of your peer group:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, arts, or related disciplines (or equivalent experience).
- A team player with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
- Ability to manage content (copy, imagery, video, audio) through CMS systems e.g. SharePoint, Poppulo, basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud Suite & Adobe Premiere Pro
- Good knowledge of design principles, including visual hierarchy, accessibility, usability, and interaction design.
- Familiarity with design thinking, and user experience concepts would be considered a plus.
- Excellent writing and editing/proofreading capabilities - with high standard of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to autonomously project manage and multi–task, prioritising work, and meeting deadlines.
- Superior Microsoft Office skills (i.e. Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Comfortable with stakeholders’ interaction in order to exchange information, understanding expectations and commitments.
- Experience with webinars and/or events.
- Experience presenting/pitching
- Examples of your writing and/or content creation skills available if requested
- A curious and growth-oriented mindset, with a desire to expand your knowledge and contribute to areas beyond your primary role, including Change Management, User Experience, and Design.

- Manage and co-ordinate broad communications activities for multiple projects and product launches
- Prepare, edit, and distribute communications materials including newsletters, project drops/updates, leadership emails, intranet content and executive briefing documents.
- Content creation and re-purposing for internal channels.
- Support the coordination of communication campaigns and events.
- Writing / content editing – distilling complex topics into concise and compelling stories for business readers.
- Collaborating across departments to deliver innovative communications strategies & solutions in support of business objectives.
- Managing creative asset delivery.
- Support the Transformation and Change team with coordination of project and change management activities.
