We are now seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our growing team.
The Opportunity
As HR Generalist, you will provide day-to-day HR support to employees and managers across the business. This is a varied, hands-on role covering employee relations, HR administration, employee engagement, reporting, benefits and ongoing HR projects.
You will be a key point of contact within the business, providing practical and professional HR guidance while ensuring our employee information, processes and systems are maintained to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a first point of contact for employees and managers, responding to day-to-day HR queries in a positive and professional manner.
- Support managers in addressing employee relations matters and resolving workplace issues fairly and consistently.
- Maintain employee records and HR system data accurately and within the required timelines.
- Coordinate the payroll process with the Finance team, ensuring all employee changes and payroll information are accurate and submitted on time.
- Prepare regular and ad hoc HR reports, including absence monitoring, probation tracking, employee turnover and other key people metrics.
- Coordinate probationary reviews and follow up with managers to ensure they are completed on time.
- Administer statutory leave, company benefits, health insurance, pension schemes, tax-efficient benefits and professional memberships.
- Support recruitment, onboarding and induction activities when required.
- Coordinate employee wellbeing initiatives, mental health resources and engagement activities.
- Identify opportunities to improve HR systems, processes and administrative efficiency.
- Support the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Participate in wider HR projects and people initiatives across the business.
Requirements
- Previous experience in an HR administration, HR coordinator or HR generalist role.
- A relevant qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline is desirable.
- Experience supporting employees and managers in a manufacturing, operational or similarly fast-paced environment would be an advantage.
- Working knowledge of Irish employment legislation and HR best practice.
- Previous experience using HR systems and maintaining employee data.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to confidentiality.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to build positive working relationships with employees and managers at all levels.
- A proactive and highly motivated approach, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
