The Opportunity
We are currently looking for a Cleaner to join our team at Breedon Cement, Kinnegad.
In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment across our site facilities, ensuring high standards of cleanliness are consistently achieved.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out general cleaning duties across various site buildings and facilities.
- Clean floors and rooms using dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming and dusting techniques.
- Clean internal glass surfaces and windows as required.
- Maintain restroom facilities, including:
- Cleaning toilets and urinals
- Sanitising fixtures and fittings
- Cleaning mirrors, partitions and walls
- Sweeping and mopping floors
- Replenishing consumables and restocking dispensers
- Emptying waste bins
- Support other departments when required to ensure site standards are maintained.
- Report any maintenance issues, repairs or replacements identified during cleaning activities.
- Follow all health and safety procedures while carrying out duties.
- Full Clean Driving Licence.
- Ability to work safely, accurately and efficiently.
- High standards of workmanship and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work on your own initiative.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, organised and committed to maintaining excellent standards.
