Service Manager
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a full time Service Manager to join our team located in our purpose built facility in Clarinbridge, Galway - H91 YE63.
Fairyhouse Creche runs a combined Preschool and afterschool service. The Early years Professional will be responsible across the entirety of the service.
You will report to the Owner-Manager
What we require from candidates:
- Minimum QQI Level 6/7 in Childcare or the equivalent.
- FETAC Level 6 in Occupational First Aid
- Minimum 3 years work experience in a childcare setting with a min 1 years experence in a management role.
- Completed Garda Vetting/Police Clearance
- Ability to take initiative & lead and motivate a large team
- Fluent English & excellent communication skills with children, staff, parents & government bodies
- Comprehensive knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations
- Ensure all our policies and procedures are adhered and kept up to date
- Warm, caring and energetic individual with a genuine love for children & responsiveness to the needs of children.
- Be prepared for inspections by Tusla, Pobal, Des,Eho,Has, and Nera at any time.
- Pobal registration , returns and day to day monitoring of the online portal.
- Ability to plan ahead
- Impeccable organizational skills
- MUST observe confidentiality at all times
- To be self motivated and the ability to motivate others in a positive way.
- Must be flexible and a team player
