Kitchen Lead – Galway
An established, busy daytime café is looking for an experienced Kitchen Lead to run its kitchen.
We're looking for someone who is calm under pressure, highly organised and commercially aware, with a passion for modern, seasonal food. This role is as much about creating great systems and leading people as it is about creating great dishes.
You'll be someone who:
- Leads with professionalism, composure and respect.
- Creates a positive, supportive kitchen where people work well together.
- Is exceptionally organised with high standards of cleanliness and preparation.
- Understands food costs, margins, labour efficiency and waste reduction.
- Is confident with HACCP, ordering, stock control and kitchen administration.
- Enjoys creating modern café food, seasonal specials.
- Develops recipes and systems that deliver consistency every day.
- Coaches and develops a small kitchen team through clear communication and leading by example.
