A global leading manufacturer of Ultra-High Purity & Performance Valves and Flow Solutions to advanced manufacturing industries including the semiconductor, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, food & beverage and energy markets. We are seeking a Manufacturing Technician who will play a key role in building and delivering high-quality products in a precision manufacturing environment.
The Manufacturing Technician will carry out a broad range of production activities, including material preparation, cleaning of critical components, mechanical buffing, electro-polishing, and the assembly, testing, and inspection of valves and associated components to exacting standards.
This role involves reading and interpreting engineering drawings and work instructions, selecting and preparing components, performing precision mechanical assembly, and completing functional and pressure testing. The technician will ensure that all products meet strict quality, cleanliness, and performance requirements associated with ultra-high purity applications.
The position requires a proactive, hands-on approach, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to quality. The successful candidate will be expected to work effectively as part of a team while contributing to a high-performance, precision manufacturing environment.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare materials and components in line with production requirements
- Clean critical components to ultra-high purity standards using manual and automated processes
- Perform mechanical finishing operations including polishing, buffing, and surface preparation
- Assemble mechanical parts, sub-systems, and complete valve systems in accordance with engineering drawings, technical specifications, and work instructions
- Conduct product inspection, functional, and performance testing, including pressure testing, using appropriate equipment and measurement tools
- Perform in-process inspections and quality checks to ensure products meet required specifications and standards
- Mark and label components with required identification details (e.g. serial numbers, ratings, product descriptions)
- Operate a range of manufacturing tools and equipment including hand tools, power tools, saws, grinders, and precision instruments
- Carry out fabrication activities such as fitting, cutting, straightening, and preparation of tubing and components in controlled environments where required, adhering to gowning protocols and contamination control procedures
- Identify, report, and support the resolution of defects, non-conformances, and process issues.
Process & Quality Responsibilities
- Follow established manufacturing processes, work instructions (WIs), and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Operate within certified quality and environmental management systems (e.g. ISO standards), ensuring compliance and product conformity
- Adhere to health, safety, and risk assessment procedures to maintain a safe working environment
- Participate in internal audits and support corrective and preventive actions
- Contribute to problem-solving activities, root cause analysis, and risk assessments (e.g. FMEA)
- Comply with inspection and process control procedures to maintain operational efficiency
- Collaborate with production and cross-functional teams to achieve quality, delivery, and business objectives
- Support and participate in continuous improvement initiatives within manufacturing operations
Pay: €29,400.00-€31,000.00 per year
