Accommodation Centre Manager
This fast-growing company is seeking a versatile and organised individual to manage one of our accommodation centres located in Cork. Proven experience in managing a hotel or accommodation centre is essential. A tertiary qualification in social work / humanities would be an advantage.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years' professional experience in hotel management (preferred), social work / humanities background, or related fields.
- Ability to manage a medium-sized team.
- Strong communication and all-round administrative skills.
- A sound knowledge of legislation and guidelines related to the accommodation sector.
- Ability to effectively communicate with people from diverse backgrounds, demonstrating empathy and a willingness to assist.
- Access to reliable transport to Cork / surrounding areas.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Co-ordinating and overseeing residents' service functions.
- Monitoring day-to-day operations in the complex.
- Effectively managing a team of approximately 8 people.
- Maintaining equipment inventories and document storage.
- Generating reports as and when required.
- Contributing to the development and delivery of training programmes for staff members.
- Assisting residents from multi-national and sensitive backgrounds as part of a governmental housing initiative.
We are offering a competitive salary of €50,000 per annum, dependent on qualifications and experience. A 48-hour working week, rostered, will apply.
