The Hot Box Sauna is Ireland’s leading sauna and wellness experience, offering a unique blend of relaxation, community, and wellbeing. We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Barista to join our team at the Studio in Cork to deliver a high-quality café experience that complements our wellness offering.
This is a hands-on role ideal for someone passionate about coffee, hospitality, and creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere for customers.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver a warm, welcoming and friendly experience to all customers.
Engage with customers to create a positive and relaxed café environment and turn them into regulars.
Handle customer feedback and resolve issues professionally.
Take orders efficiently and accurately using the POS system.
Handle customer feedback and queries in a courteous manner.
Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, teas, and beverages to brand standards.
Assist with the preparation and presentation of light food offerings.
Maintain consistency in taste, quality, and presentation.
Ensure all food and beverages are served promptly.
Support the smooth day-to-day running of the café.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of all work areas, equipment, and seating areas.
Assist with opening and closing procedures.
Restock supplies and monitor inventory levels.
Follow all food safety, hygiene, and HACCP guidelines.
About You
Friendly, reliable, and passionate about coffee and delivering excellent customer service.
Required Skills and Experience
Relevant hospitality experience, ideally working in a high-quality or specialty coffee environment.
Excellent customer service skills.
Proven track record of following food safety, hygiene, and standard operating procedures.
Experience with POS.
Right to work in Ireland without restrictions (Work Permit Sponsorship is not available).
Ability to work flexible shifts Mon - Sun from the Victoria Road location in Cork.
