About the Company
Our client is a successful and growing food production business supplying high-quality products to customers across Ireland. They are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead their Galway operation and support the continued growth of the business.
Responsibilities
As Operations Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Managing the day-to-day operations of the site, ensuring efficient production and customer service.
- Leading, motivating and developing operational teams to achieve business objectives.
- Monitoring sales performance, margins and operational KPIs.
- Managing staffing, rostering, training and employee performance.
- Driving continuous improvement, operational efficiency and compliance with quality and safety standards.
Requirements
To be considered for this Operations Manager position, you should have:
- Previous management experience within food production, manufacturing, food processing, hospitality (Senior Chef managing teams) or a similar operational environment
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Commercial awareness with experience managing budgets, costs or profitability.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
