Role Overview
Mastek are looking to recruit a person to work alongside our existing stores team, you will be the core of our manufacturing facility, responsible for the seamless flow of materias from receiving steel and specialised components to kitting parts for assembly teams. Your goal is to ensure that the right part is in the right place at the right time to avoid any production downtime.
Goods Inward: Unload deliveries, inspect parts for quality/damage and verify shipments against purchase orders and packing lists
Inventory Management: Accurately log all stock movements into the ERP system. Conduct regular cycle counts to maintain 100% accuracy
Production Kitting: Pick all components based on Bill of Materials (BOM) for the welding and assembly teams
Dispatch Support: Prepare finished machinery or spare parts for shipping, including palletizing, strapping, and completing transport documentation
Warehouse Optimization: Maintain a lean and organised stores area, ensuring heavy agri-parts are stored safely and logically
Supplier Liaison: Communicate with Purchasing Department regarding shortages, backorders or incorrect deliveries
This will be an indoor warehouse and outdoor yard storage position, working a standard 40 hour week 8.30 - 5.30 with occasional overtime during peak seasonal demands in the agricultural sector
Skills & Experience Required
Industry Knowledge: previous experience in a manufacturing or engineering stores environement. (knowledge of agri machinery, hydraulics is an advantage)
Technical Literacy: Proficient in using an inventory management system and basic Microsoft Excel
Licenses: Valid Forklift License (Counterbalance and/or Reach)
Physical Fitness: Ability to handle heavy lifting and remain active throughout a busy warehouse enviroment.
Proactive Problem Solver: you spot a low stock situation before it stops the assembly line
Safety First Mindset: Follow strict adherence to Health & Safety protocols especially regarding manual handling and machinery movement
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: €14.50-€18.00 per hour
