Very busy Early Years Educare Centre in Cashel Town has part time positions available for suitable candidates.
Candidates will have a minimum FETAC Level 5 Early Years Qualification (or suitable equivalent), a working knowledge of Síolta, Aistear, and the emergent curriculum, along with the ability to plan and execute child-centred, age-appropriate curricula and activities. Knowledge of paperwork required is desirable, in addition to the ability to confidently and competently complete same to a suitable standard.
Enthusiasm and a genuine love for working with children are essential, along with being energetic, imaginative, and personable. The ability to create a rapport with children, parents and other team members is very important, as is respect, reliability, punctuality, and the ability to take initiative.
A pleasant disposition, advanced communication skills, and basic computer knowledge are also required.
Candidates will be expected to become familiar with our principles, policies, procedures etc, and to keep themselves informed of changes or developments within the sector.
Ability and willingness to follow our practices and procedures is an absolute must. The safety and well-being of our team members, the children attending our Service, and their families are of paramount importance to us. We do not take short cuts. Adhering to our ethos 'The Child Comes First - No Matter What' is an absolute necessity.
Training, support, and guidance will be provided to assist the successful candidates in becoming familiar with our Policies & Procedures, and just generally how we do things at Bright Beginnings.
