Catering Manager required for The Pavilion Bar, Trinity College, Dublin.

The Pavilion Bar at Trinity college Dublin is seeking to appoint an experienced and motivated Catering Manager to lead and develop our catering operation in a vibrant and dynamic campus environment.
This is an exciting opportunity for a hospitality professional who enjoys variety, leadership and working in a busy college setting. The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing the day-to-day catering operation, supporting the wider team, and helping to deliver a high-quality food offering for students, staff, visitors and event guests.
About the Role
This is a flexible management role, with the usual working pattern being Monday to Friday, based on a 40 hour week. However, flexibility will be required depending on bookings, events and operational needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day management of the catering operation
- Lead, support and develop the kitchen and catering team
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation and service
- Assist in menu planning and development suited to a campus setting
- Ensure all food safety, hygiene and HACCP procedures are fully maintained
- Support the delivery of catering for internal and external bookings
- Work closely with the wider management team to ensure smooth operations
Candidate Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have:
- A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar management position
- Experience working within a campus, catering or similar high-volume hospitality setting
- Strong experience in menu planning/menu setting
- Up-to-date HACCP knowledge and a strong understanding of food safety compliance
- Strong organisational, communication and leadership skills
- A proactive and flexible approach to work
