We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Chief Operating Officer (COO) to oversee the day-to-day operations of Kare Plan and support the continued delivery of high-quality home care services.
The COO will work closely with the CEO and senior management team to ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality, person-centred care while maintaining strong operational, regulatory and quality standards across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations and delivery of Kare Plan’s home care services.
- Lead, support and develop care managers, coordinators and care staff.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, safeguarding requirements and quality standards.
- Monitor client satisfaction, care quality and overall operational performance.
- Oversee staffing, recruitment, training and workforce planning.
- Manage complaints, incidents and operational issues, ensuring appropriate action is taken.
- Develop and improve policies, procedures and operational systems.
- Identify opportunities to improve service delivery, efficiency and the overall client experience.
- Support business growth and strategic planning across Kare Plan.
- Report operational performance, key developments and issues to the CEO.
- Promote a positive culture focused on high-quality, person-centred care and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Previous senior management experience, ideally within home care or healthcare.
- Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills.
- Good knowledge of safeguarding, compliance and care quality standards.
- Proven ability to manage teams, solve problems and work effectively under pressure.
- Strong understanding of operational management and service delivery.
- A genuine commitment to providing excellent, person-centred care.
- Ability to build strong working relationships with clients, families, care staff and senior management.
Pay: €80,000.00 per year
