Roscommon Leisure Zone is a busy family entertainment centre offering a range of activities and services including a bowling alley, soft play area, restaurant, arcade games, birthday parties, school tours and corporate events.
We are currently seeking a reliable, enthusiastic and motivated Weekend Supervisor to join our team. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with previous supervisory or hospitality experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
The Role
As a Weekend Supervisor, you will be responsible for helping oversee the day to day operation of the centre during busy periods, ensuring excellent customer service standards are maintained while supporting staff across all areas of the business.
The successful candidate will primarily work weekends, with opportunities for additional midweek shifts available.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervising and supporting staff during shifts
- Ensuring excellent customer service throughout the centre
- Assisting with the smooth operation of the bowling alley, soft play area and restaurant
- Handling customer queries and resolving issues professionally
- Opening and closing the premises when required
- Cash handling and operating tills
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and safety
- Assisting with birthday parties, group bookings and special events
- Supporting management with daily operational tasks
Essential Requirements
- Must be over 20 years of age
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem solving abilities
- Reliable, punctual and flexible
- Available to work weekends on a regular basis
Desirable (Not Essential)
- Experience in hospitality, supervisory or food service environments
- Experience managing staff or leading a team
- Food safety or HACCP knowledge
