One key area of our business is that we are Truck Hydraulics Specialists, providing tailored Hydraulic System Solutions, Heavy Duty Greasing systems, Bulk Discharge systems, fuel tank reconfiguration, Winch solutions and on-site installation & commissioning. Applications are invited from fully or part-qualified Fitter/HGV/Agri Mechanic to be based in our Dublin Hill, Cork location who will work as part of team of fitters under the direction of our workshop & installation team leader.
The Role:
This role is multi-disciplined where you are required to provide Fluid Power repairs and overhauls across a wide range of applications and industries. An understanding of Hydraulic & Pneumatic components such as Pumps, Valves, Actuators, Filtration and associated Fluid Power applications including hydraulic power packs and compressors would be an advantage but not essential as ongoing training will be provided.
Key responsibilities:
- Carry out repairs both in our Workshop and on site if required.
- To Repair & Overhaul hydraulic and pneumatic Components, Actuators and Systems in the workshop.
- To test (if appropriate) to ensure correct operating criteria are met before delivery to customer.
- To run up and test Hydraulic systems & compressors before delivery to customers.
- To install hydraulic or pneumatic systems if required at customers premises as part of a team.
- Able to fault find hydraulic and pneumatic components and systems with little information.
- Fault diagnosis, inspection and repair of hydraulic and pneumatic components.
- May be required to attend breakdowns at very short notice, some overtime and weekend working will be required.
Working hours – 39hr week - Mon/Thurs 8.30am to 5pm (30min lunch) & Fri 8.30am to 4pm (30min lunch)
Annual leave – 25 days
Salary – negotiable based on experience
