Driver to the Ambassador (Official Driver)
The Embassy of the Republic of Sierra Leone in Dublin invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Driver to the Ambassador.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide safe, timely and professional transportation for the Ambassador to official engagements, meetings, diplomatic events and other assigned duties.
- Maintain the Ambassador's official vehicle in a clean, roadworthy and presentable condition.
- Coordinate vehicle servicing, insurance, registration and routine maintenance.
- Assist with protocol arrangements, luggage handling and other official duties as required.
- Ensure compliance with Irish road traffic regulations and Embassy transport policies.
- Maintain confidentiality, professionalism and security awareness at all times.
Requirements
- Valid Irish driving licence held for a minimum of ten years.
- Minimum ten years' professional driving experience.
- Excellent knowledge of Dublin and surrounding areas.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of discretion, integrity and reliability.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends when required.
- Fluency in English.
- Applicants must have legal authorisation to work in Ireland.
