Senior Quantity Surveyor – Maynooth, Co. Kildare
We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Maynooth, Co. Kildare. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for the commercial and financial management of a major construction project, ensuring cost control, profitability, and successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost control functions.
- Procure and administer subcontractor packages, including valuations, payments, and final accounts.
- Prepare commercial reports and financial forecasts for senior management.
- Monitor project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Manage contract variations, claims, and contractual compliance.
- Liaise with clients, design teams, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to company financial procedures and reporting requirements.
- Support estimating and tendering activities where required.
Requirements
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
- 5+ years’ experience in civil engineering or commercial construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of cost management, contract administration, and commercial reporting.
- Experience with estimating and financial management systems is advantageous.
- Excellent commercial awareness, analytical ability, and negotiation skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Chartered status or progression towards SCSI Chartership is desirable.

Pay: €45,000.00-€64,000.00 per year
